“Our Blue Boat Home” is a series of eleven lessons that will be offered during the Sunday Summer Services from about 9:50 until 10:30 all summer long. The lessons are designed to teach multi-aged children the wonders of our natural environment while learning to respect the interdependent web of all existence, cooperation, community building, and making friends with children of different ages.
UU Volunteers will be taking turns teaching the lessons while keeping a consistent theme and routine throughout the summer. The lessons start by looking at the Universe and Earth’s place in it and then zoom in on such things as Earth’s land, water, animals, plants, and more! The lessons end by talking about how we can take care of the earth and all of the things that are special about our “Blue Boat Home”. We hope your children and grandchildren can join us!
